JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the Used Truck Sales Administrator is to provide administrative support for the Used Truck Manager and Used Truck Sales Staff. Secondary function is to assist with New Truck Sales as needed in completing administrative tasks.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Maintain used truck inventory in the SalesPoint program (entry and removal).
  2. Generate invoices, sales paperwork, licensing and temporary permits
  3. Handle all payment, flooring and title work on used trucks: purchases, trades and sales.
  4. Complete flooring audits and report to Used Truck Manager on a bi-weekly basis
  5. Issue purchase orders and invoices pertaining to used truck reconditioning.
  6. Track and close purchase orders for used truck reconditioning after invoice has been obtained from vendor. Purchase orders will involve internal company charges as well as outside vendors.
  7. Maintain truck files regarding the sale of used trucks including accumulating all costs in order to correctly prepare sales summaries and commission sheets
  8. Assist Sales Personnel (mainly Used but also New if needed) in closing process with each truck sale.
  9. Close all Used Truck files as they are received so that sales numbers can be accurately generated at month end. All truck files must be submitted by Sales Staff by the last business day of the month and files must be posted no later than the second business day of the following month.
  10. If needed, assist New Truck Sales Administrator in closing files.
  11. Follow processes and procedures established with District Office Manager in order to make sure that all administrative needs for the Used Truck Sales Department are being met.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or the equivalent
Knowledge of all types of new and used trucks and their components preferred
Proficient with computer systems, ten-key calculator and large data bases
Professional personal appearance. Excellent communication and organizational skills required
