JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the Service Truck shop driver is to test drive all trucks before and after repairs. This job will also include picking up and delivery of trucks from customer which are needing repairs. This will also include picking up and delivering of trucks from customer which are needing repair or have been repaired. Prefer someone semi-retired as this is only test driving trucks along with the pickup and delivery.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Receives assignments from Shop Office, Shop Foreman and Service Manager.
2. Performs test drive with our trailers or customers trailers to check validity of the repair.
3. Advises Shop Foreman or Service Manager of any problem during test drives.
4. Perform pickup and delivery of trucks to and from the customers for repairs and return trucks after repair.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or the equivalentWorking knowledge of trucks
Must have current class A CDL with endorsements:
T: Double/Triple Trailers
P: Passenger Vehicles
N: Tank Vehicles
H: Hazardous Materials
X: Tank Vehicle/Hazardous Materials Combination
S: School Bus
Current Medical Certification Appropriate for the CDL.
