Truck Rental Administrator Job Summary:
The primary function of the Rental Administration is to assist the District Rental Manager and maintain rental records, yard checks, coordination with customers during rental pickups, answering phones, reserving trucks, and checking out/in rental trucks.
Truck Rental Administrator Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Complete all necessary paperwork for rental accounts along with rental approvals.
2. Maintain courteous and continuing relations with customers regarding rental needs.
3. Coordinate with the district rental manager on all repairs of the rental fleet, including capturing damage and billing any rental downtime.
4. Weekly rental billing.
5. Rental Administration will maintain all trucks on the lot, including occasional start-ups and inspections of their overall appearance and condition.
6. Daily telemarketing calls, the goal is 25 – 50 calls weekly.
7. 100% insurance compliance, driver trip reports, rental inspections, damage management, and all other administrative duties needed.
8. Work closely with all other departments in the PacLease operation.
9. Works closely with the district rental manager to update Geotabs for each location.
10. Manage the AP resolution folder by placing invoices in the appropriate person’s file and assisting with issuing MPOs as needed.
11. Any other duties needed to help keep the PacLease rental department compliant.
Truck Rental Administrator Qualifications:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. A high school diploma or college degree is desirable, or the equivalent. Professional personal appearance is necessary, excellent communication and organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
The Rental coordinator works indoors and outdoors, primarily as a sales function. S/he must have transportation to perform sales calls in the marketplace. S/he will also be about the dealership facility to communicate with the dealer managers, employees, and customers. Excellent communication skills are required. This job requires you to climb in and out of trucks regularly. S/he must bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and feel. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Must also spend extensive time at a desk, reviewing detailed computer printouts, inputting data on a Video Display Monitor, filing and receiving telephone calls, and maintaining information systems.
