JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the PacLease Wash Bay Technician is to clean and detail customer and PacLease rental trucks, tractors and trailers as needed. Including fueling customers' vehicles. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Wash vehicle exteriors, inspect for body and component damage.
2. Steam clean engines, and removed parts as needed.
3. Clean vehicle interiors as needed. Remove garbage and customer personal belongings (and inventory) as needed.
4. Dry and polish vehicles. Ready vehicles for trade shows or display in franchise show room.
5. Perform daily spot checks of equipment to ensure cleanliness.
6. Report body or interior damage to supervisor for repair or connection.
7. Maintain wash bay equipment and facility to standards of cleanliness of cleanliness.
8. Prepare various chemical compounds and soap solutions for cleaning products usage.
9. Clean and drain floor sumps as needed to ensure proper water flow to drains.
10. Park and move vehicles through facilities and parking lots as needed.
11. Transport vehicles needing deep cleaning to detail shop as needed.
12. Maintain record of washes and vehicle conditions and report to office to ensure accuracy.
13. Clean and maintain fuel island.
14. Assist shop janitor and other technicians.
15. Check in and check out of trucks for rental/leasing.
16. Perform post trip inspections, and assist with installations/removal of tires as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information 
High School diploma or the equivalent
Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal
Professional personal appearance
Previous experience preferred but not required
Must be willing/able to obtain a Class B Commercial License and Medical Card within 120 days of hire
Must have a clean driving record
