JOB SUMMARY
Shipping and receiving all freight material arriving or leaving the company. Maintaining Warehouse.
 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
1.Maintain purchase order file and receive all purchased items.
2.Unpack and check all material for damage and correct quantity.
3.Package and ship material as specified on authorized shipping documents, i.e. invoices, return merchandise request,etc.
4.Maintain warehouse to include stocking parts,and general housekeeping.
5.Maintain bill of lading and freight bill files.


QUALIFICATIONS
 
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
High school diploma or the equivalent
Clearly legible handwriting
Experience in shipping: knowledge of bills of lading, freight bills, shipping and receiving rates
Packaging skills: knowledge of how material should be packed to reach its destination economically and without damage
Excellent organization and communication skills
Ability to operate warehouse forklift and complete formal training program
