JOB SUMMARY
Deliver and pick up New & Used trucks as needed. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide driving services to Kenworth Sales Company as needed.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 
2. Drive New/Used inventory as well as customer trucks in a safe manner, obey all traffic laws and all DOT regulations. Report any motor vehicle violations to supervisor immediately, but not later than end of trip.

3. Driver will be paid on a per trip basis through the payroll system with appropriate taxes being deducted. Kenworth Sales Co. will pay for airline tickets and fuel (with individually issued fuel card). All other expenses (motels, taxis, permits, etc.) will be reimbursed at end of trip with appropriate receipts. Drivers pays for their own meals. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Able to read and comprehend English instructions and information
High School Diploma
Driver currently maintains professional commercial driver’s license to operate Class 8 vehicles and trailers. (CDL). Such CDL is in good standing and driving privileges are not suspended or otherwise restricted.
Local and some long haul overnight trips required.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Interstate driving. Doubles/Triples and tanker endorsements a plus.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
    
New/ Used Truck Pick Up & Delivery Driver reports to the New Truck Coordinator for day-to-day operations and administratively to the District Sales Manager


WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may involve working at dealership moving trucks on the property, light maintenance which may require standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting at least 35 lbs. without assistance. Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
